Using the Platform¶

Below you'll find some key information on how-to use some of the keys features of this book.

Time To Study (TTS)¶

The Time To Study metric is measured in hours and helps you set a time limit on how long you study a particular topic. One of the primary reasons you're using our book to study for a career in IT is it's designed to keep you focused and stay on track.

That's what the TTS number does.

When you load a page that has materials for you to study you'll be presented with a table at the very top of the page, just underneath the topic introduction. The table will look this:

The TTS that you'll find in this table is a recommendation to help you stay on schedule and achieve your career goals in a timely fashion. That being said feel free to indulge in a topic if it's holding your interest and you want to know more.
